I was going to sell this 2002 male ball. Whats the going rate for the spot nose?

Any special genes I should think about holding onto?

I don't know what Spot Noses are going for, but I'd be willing to take him off your hands for $100. I'm just kidding. I think a Spot Nose would look great with a lot of the other morphs. I would keep him, but he is your snake. Keep my offer in mind .

Is the spot nose a proven trait?
If so what is the going rate?

The Spot Nose was proven dominant in 2001 by Dave and Tracy Barker, VPI. I'm not sure how much they are going for. I'm still willing to give me $100 up for one.

That snake looks nothing like the spot-nose on the VPI website. Go to their site and check it out. I say sell him the snake for $100. Tom Muzek

Interesting.

This guy has a great faded head with a stripe down the middle but it sure doesn't have the bright yellow coloration.

The type of spot nose that is pictured above to my knowledge is NOT PROVEN, Now the VPI spot nose has a big spot on the TIP OF HIS NOSE. The Twin SPOT NOSE balls pictured above are fairly common in ball pythons, I have see several and have produced several from normal breedings, Maybe they will be something but we won't know until someone breeds them. I will breed Twin Spot nose to Twin spot nose to see what happens. In my Opinion they are not worth that much more than a normal.

I would not call this pic a spotnose. At least not what VPI describes on their website. If yours does sell well, let me know, I have a couple that looks similar - spot on the side.

Shes had 4 meals since she started eating again (1 mouse and 3 small rats) and she's eating one small rat a week and as of this morning she's at 797 grams. I've still got my fingers crossed for this season tho. My albino male is still in the 400 gram range and isn't producing yet, but we'll see how the 7 months go.
