Went for a drive through some back roads in central MD today, and the wood frogs were out everywhere. Unfortunately, many were squished all over the roads. But I know some were making it to the breeding pools, cause I witnessed a few mating balls, and heard a lot of calling. Spring peepers were also in the back round. Spring is here. Can't wait for the salamanders to come!
