thanks
That was the male right? Which one is your female. From your last pics of them I think the female is looking better than the male now. I thought the male was the better looking one at first but in the new shots I liked the female.

fed them and can't believe how BIG they're getting! "BUTCH"&"SWEETIE-PIE" are doing fantastic.

Though this pic doesn't show it that well this guy had blotches all the way down to about 3 marks above the vent. He got around 5 corns that I either had to cull or that where dead in the egg. He got real big quick as a result and looked better with each shed. The Problem is I sold him for some stupid reason. I was thinking I didn't need another male. LOL Good news is a good friend of mine has him and will be breeding hm to a black bellied sibling. I can't wait to see that clutch when it hatches. Sorry for the low quality pics.
Thanks Jason

What locale?
Pretty nice.
By the way - I have done the same thing and have fed non-feeding corns and ratsankes to some of my kings. Better than watching them (the kings and the elaphe) starve to death.

This is the clutch that I produced from a Lake City(sorta) female and a nice WC male.
As far as the feeding other snakes to the kings, it is only sic or already dead snakes that I feed. I don't like the idea of feeding a healthy snake to another snake even if that is all they eat. I know it happens all the time in the wild but so do parisites loads that kill the snakes, doesn't mean I am going to introduce some parasites. I know, kinda apples and oranges, but some people feed healthy snakes cuz its "cool" and I don't dig that. They defend it by using the "in the wild" line and it doesn't sit well with me. That said I get quite a few dead in the egg, kinked, or otherwise undesireable babies every year. Only about 5% of the total babies but I usually have about 2-300 babies so it ends up being 10-20 "feeder snakes" each year. They put alot of size on the kings quick so that kinda makes me feel better that they at least went to some use.
OK I am going to stop now. LOL
