The show itself was small! It was held in a conference room at the Mesa Holiday Inn that was WAY too small for the venue! The aisles weren't more than 3 feet wide and it was IMPOSSIBLE to navigate a stroller in the room.
Attendance seemed really good. I was there on both days, and the place was jam-packed on both days. I was looking for some mantids, but I didn't see any bug guys. There was some representation from bearded dragon breeders and of course snakes were well represented, but there wasn't much offering from chameleons.
LLL Reptile, and Reptile Depot were anchoring the show. I think they were the only two vendors that had any chameleons. RD had some 4 horned chams and some ambanjas (ambilobe I think); their chams were looking a bit stressed. LLL had mostly sub-adult female veileds and ONE adult pair of veileds. They looked very good, so I bought the pair.
Synopsis: the show was small, crowded, and under-represented by the chameleon community. However, there was some GREAT deals to be had, just had to fight the crowds and dive in. The girls from LLL still remember me from Oceanside and I got a GREAT deal for my new veiled pair. I'm very glad I went- really great people out there!
