I have not been around in probably 6 months. I picked up two females last summer. This is one at about 1 year of age. Not the colors I was hoping for. Hopefully you get the photo. I gave up on kingsnake photo hosting, so I just set up a new one 5 minutes ago. I'm a guy, so you know I didn't read the directions, I am winging it.

Honestly I don't even know if this is a Papuan. The whitish sides are making me think this is a hybrid. The other is in the blue.

I apologize for the picture. Zeus says I must be a professional photographer, a herper for 30 years, can't use glass aquariums, must I go on and on? Just sharing a photo for people who like carpets. Didn't know I had to have multiple graduate degrees in herps and jerkology to post here. Now I know why I haven't been around for 6 months. Too many egos. Take care. I'm back to keeping my snakes to myself. I know I enjoy them, and enjoy photos of others, no matter if the person who owns them is 12 or 112. Seems like others here are too high on their soap box to appreciate others. Matt

Nice pic and nice snake. Even if it may be a hybrid, it's not the end of the world. It's still a great looking snake.

There's something amiss to that snake...looks much like some WP X Coastals I have seen but a bit more WP influence in yours. The anterior lateral striping is not prevalent in any of our West Papuans. But who really knows....only the breeder.

i have been looking at alot of carpondro pics latley and i was thinking that it might be a carpondro...
where did u get it??? and do you know anything about the parents???

Yasser might be the best to judge since he has one, but i think this might be a carpondro... in the pics that i have seen most tend to look alot like a carpet but with a few differences...

i dont know... just a thought...
