Poss het sharp albino value

serpentsplus Mar 21, 2005 10:03 AM

Hi all,
Can someone put a approx. value on a yearling 50% het sharp albino female? I am interested in conducting a trade for 3 of these females and need to know some sort of value.

Thank you,
Lee

if you had a male het or albino male to breed them, they would be more valuable to you than if you didn't.

To me, personally, I would probably just consider them yearling commons, and price them according to looks.. maybe $50-$150 at most, unless they were outrageous, of course..

but if this was your only project, you already had the male, and could easily get the females, maybe they would be a bit more valuable to you..

again depends how bad you want them.

I've seen some poss hets go for around $400 or so... I would never do that.
If you think you will not be able to afford a true het, or this is the only way you'd be able to make albinos, then go for it.

Hope this helped.
thanks, Joe

Kansas here we come!!!LOL!! Just curious, is there a huge demand for them there? Seems like you could buy them for $50 bucks and turn a strong profit ....the truck is on the way!! Take care, Andy

their is not really much more demand here then anywhere else..

but i would think that the pet stores are buying from out of state if they are so cheap and jacking up the price...

I can find hypos (extremely nice ones) locally for around 150-250 bucks a piece, along with in a year should see Motley het anerys, poss dom ghosts, snows, and a few others.. Just gotta know who to talk to and where to look to find the snakes in this area..

Hey Randy get me some extremely nice Salmon females for the $150 price...That sounds great! Andy

No way, they stay right here in KS

Quite a few killer collections are being built right here around Wichita.. Pretty soon I won't even have to look online to find 90% of the morphs..

100% het females go for 1000-1200 if you can get them with the excpetion of one female that is for sale at the moment with a sever prolapse and no paper work as to her gentics. female het for khale albinos are about 400 at the moment with poss hets going for 150 to 200 so.
