how big shall it be? And I bought some fine jungle mix to put in it. Will that be alright or do I neeeed vermiculite? Cause Im not sure where to get some unless I drive all the way to a nursery or home depot gah. And also if I post a picture will you be able to tell me how far along she is?

the nesting box should be big enough for your leo to get in, turn around, stretch and dig!

There is no need to get vermiculite as it (from what i have heard) makes a much better incubating medium than it does laying medium, due to the sharp edges it may have

good luck with the babies!

can you reccommend something that would work best for laying because im not comfortable using this jungle mix because it has some twigs that look scarey.

when i bred my leos, i used Bed-a-Beast bedding for the nest box. it comes in brick form, and all you have to do is break off a chunk, add water, and mush it around a bit to get this moist, soily turf. my female LOVED digging in it, and it was soft and retained enough moisture to protect the eggs.
