Pastel with Orange Ghost

Hoopy Jul 09, 2003 10:18 AM

Hello all,

If I bred a Pastel Male that was 100% het. for Orange Ghost to a Orange ghost female, what would I get? Has this been done yet? If it has, what are they calling the new morph?

Alright, I tried to work this out on geneticswizard and this is what I got:

25% het. Orange Ghost
25% Orange Ghost
25% Pastel, het. Orange Ghost
25% Orange Ghost Pastel

I am not completely sure if it has been done, but I think I remember seeing a picture of a ghost pastel, I think it was orange ghost too. Technically, from your pairing you would have a 25% of getting an orange ghost pastel. Hope this helped...

Yes it has been done by Mark and Kim Bell. They called it a hypo pastel. I'm sure it has probably been done by someone else or is being done by others but I think the Bell's were the first. Clay
