Did someone produce a Lucy from a Pastel x Pastel breeding?

wingert1 Mar 21, 2005 02:04 PM

A friend told me some out there produced a leucistic from a Pastel to pastel breeding. I know that this normaly produces supers, pastels, and normals. I also am awear of the combos that have produced Leucistic. Has anyone heard of this Pastel x Pastel breeding I am talking about? I would like to hear from someone who really knows, not just whoevers opinion.

No one did not produce any leucistic ball from pastel x pastel,Tho one pastel yellow belly (pastel het.ivory) was produce at prehistoric pets. How are leucistic ball pythons produced they are produce 2 ways 1 Mojave x Mojave = Blue Eyed Leucistic, Mojaves, And Normals and the other way is Platinum x Mojave = Blue Eyed Leucistic, Lesser Platinums, Mojaves, And Normals, Thanks MKR And RDR for producing these snakes. And I thing MKR produced blue eyed leucistic from lesser platinum male x mojave females, And I think he bred a mojave x mojave and produced leucistic ball pythons. Hope This Helps Scott Glover

Scott....Yes, Lesser x Mojave and Mojave x Mojave did produce Blue Eye Lucys, but so did Platinum x Lesser, Lesser x Phantom, Platinum x Phantom and Vin Russo's Lemons....Vin's Lemons produced the first Blue Eye Lucy. Kevin....maybe Vin's Lemons is the cause of the Pastel confusion. Maybe your friend heard "lemon" and associated it as being a Lemon Pastel......Vin's Lemons and a Lemon Pastel are not the same morph.

LOL. I am going to stay out of this particular arguement, but it did gain some real heat on Ralph Davis' web page on his journal. Please look it up on his site. It really gives some behind the scenes look at this particular morph... the phantom. It goes hand in hand with the argument that a lesser..mojave...phantom...butter...etc. are all the same morph, just slight variations. I do not personally believe this, as I think they are all their own morphs, but when the first lucy actually breeds, we will see what happens. This should be an exciting year, as far as the lucy projects go. Anyone working on a red eyed lucy? Maybe a mojave het albino? Anyone, anyone, anyone? Thanks guys.

Vin Russo produced blue eyed lucys from his own line of animals. He calls them Lemon balls. Perhaps someone saw the Lemon x Lemon and assumed they meant Lemon pastel?
