so gertie laid her eggs last night and i was digging them out today and she fooled me! every other time all the girls have laid them all the way to the bottom, like on the glass. well gertie laid one egg there and the other two i noticed laying in the flung sand, so they must have been on top. i am so careful, i have no idea how this happened. anyway, the one egg i had not flung was pink spot up. i placed the others in the incubator pink side up also, so you think that was the best thing to do?
also ivan's eggs are firm and the tops are white but all the other parts look tan-ish, do you think it is the vermiculite?
i have 8 eggs, 6 have a really good chance i will seriously scream if they all die.
