I'm not Bob but if this pertains to your squam, I could provide some other possible tips for inducing this animal to feed. We had a brood born a while back and most refused standard mice (dead or alive). We had our best success in catching small frogs (in our case, chorus frogs) and placing them in the cage. The caudal luring occurred immediately and these little snakes tripled their growth in a short amount of time on this frog diet. We soon began scenting small mice and it wasn't too long after that these snakes were slamming f/t mice from tongs. Just something to consider if you are looking for options.

>>Rather funny thing ... this beauty wont even throw me a strike. not even a strike. interestingly perplexing but I am sure that is something I am doing. Just cant put my finger on it. I have wasted 3 pinks on her since my first post. just cant get that stirke. Anyways just thought I would let you know, and I do apporeciate all the help you have given me. I really wouldnt like to see her continuosly refuse food for a few months. If there is anything else you can think of just drop me a line.
>>Appreciate it
