Hamiltons Pond Turtle (Geoclemys hamiltonii)

I was wondering if anyone knew of any one that sold Hamiltons Pond Turtles and if you have any basic info on them please post.

I don't know much, but I can tell you that they're listed as CITES 1. So they can't pass state lines. I know a few people breed them in Florida, but unless you live there, you'll probably have a tough time obtaining one. One table had a bunch at the Daytona Expo, but I can't remember who. CITES does not apply to interstate commerce, only international trade. Geoclemys is listed by the USFWS which restricts interstate commerce to permitted individuals. Wayne Hill produces them in Florida and can be reached through the Daytona Expo website http://www.reptilebreedersexpo.com/
