Help identify this plant....

I found a huge field of this stuff near my house in an out of the way area. Is it a daisy? I was wondering if it is a good food source for my Hermanns. If I could identify it, I could refer to the tortoise food sites. Thanks for your help!

The flower looks to be a variety of wild sunflower or yellow aster. I couldn't find anything in The Audubon Society Filed Guide to North American Wild Flowers with leave like that.

My hermanns love dandelion flowers. They'd probably go for something like that as well.
