i think my uro ate too much... need some help

tristan Mar 21, 2005 08:39 PM

I think my 1.5 year old egyptian female cleo ate too much last Saturday. I was running low on fresh greens so I thawed out some frozen veggies (carrots, peas, corn, green and lima beans). My two females love them! When I came back home in the evening Cleo looked bloated like a beached whale (pic). She didn't even touch the fresh veggies I put out yesterday. Should I be worried? My other female Slo Mo is fat but not as bloated as Cleo.
I was thinking of soaking her to help her poop. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tristan

You can run, but you can't hide... unless you're a uro

Hey Tristan,

He's doing fine. He's having another growth spurt. His face is currently in shed and I've noticed his legs are starting to show signs of shed also. I've added Mazuri Tortoise Food to his diet and it seems to be putting some additional weight on him. He's still just as skittish as ever. His name is Gus by the way.

How's your big guy doing?

Craig
