Womas ?

ive been on the search for a larger snake and ive came to womas these snakes are great but what the heck is with the crazy prices ,there all like 1000 dollers thats crazyness. ps if it is possible can someone give me some ideas of some snakes compairitive to womas or a breeder who sells womas for cheap thanks.... aaron

I'm glad you are interested in acquiring some Womas. They are fascinating pythons that are easily cared for a pleaseure to have. You will undoubtedly find many hatchlings for less than $1000 each this year. Just a suggestion, but if it is a species you want to reproduce and work with as a project, you may not want to be so focused on a certain price range. I would recommend spending as much as you can reasonably afford to assure you the finest specimens you can manage. Womas are not difficult to breed and I have seen many over the last couple of years that are fairly unattractive (IMHO). The future market of herpetoculture will REQUIRE top notch animals of any species, and supply and demand dictates that quality Womas are still fairly hard to come by and cost more. Remember, all Womas are not created equal...
