housing subadults

do any of you house a pair of crested together before they are at breeding weights? My female is 28 grams and my male is at 23 currently. I posted this at the repashy.com forums and Allen Repashy as well as my vet Dr. Scott Stahl stated that they do it with their lizards with no problems. Just wondering how everyone else chooses to keep their sub adults

i keep mine in separate cages so then they do not breed prematurly.
