Though not as great as everyone else's shots, I really like these...
Eastern Diamondback first....

Eastern Indigo...my favorite critter

Gopher Tortoise - really cool animals....
Some cool lookin' spider - no idea what kind it is, maybe someone here knows??

Dusky Pigmy Rattlesnake....

Six Lined Racerunner... one incredibly fast lizard

Hypo Brooksi Kingsnake

Green Anole - Yes I know he's brown in the pic - but they can change their colors similar to a chameleon only different
THANKS FOR LOOKING!!

Awesome animals. Is that green anole in the same habitat as the indigo and gopher tortoise? I thought brown anoles had taken over down in Fla.
Cheers,
WK
Brown anoles have taken over in and around human development. When I am in the country, I almost exclusively encounter greens away from town... I guess the browns are more aggressive or something...
To answer your question, I took the picture of the green about 10 minutes before I found the big Diamondback... Incidently, I found the Indigo about 100 yards away exactly a week before... great place to go herpin' that's for sure...
Thanks for looking
Justin
Thanks for the additional info. Didn't know browns were concentrated near human development. Interesting. Sounds like your herping spot is tops. BTW, your spider looks like a silver argiope. Very nice.
Cheers,
WK
