ghost hondo male

not a very good picture, but you get the idea. he's big enough to breed this year. I"m probably going to breed him x one of my extreme hypo females: imagine a ghost with rings as light as the rings on the extreme hypos. should be spectacular.

Very nice ghost honduran. How many extreme hypos do you have. Thanks Scott Glover

Tri-color hypos, vanishing pattern hypos and ghost I think are some of the best looking hondo morphs. To me,it seems some ghost are underated, but I know some get tipping as they age, with more and more getting produced,I bet we will start seeing some really nice clean adults soon that will be producing super nice ghost.I mean Shannon has already produced a couple neat looking ones, too bad we wont be seeing pics of his '05 stuff here,oh well.Guess forum users will depend on Terry now to see amazing '05 hondo babys-(you and shannon are the only ones with amazing stuff right..?,lol) anyways, thanks for the pics terry, those extreme hypos are very nice, and they do look better with nice wide bands-(the bands that are normally dark on normals) but that vanishing pattern extreme hypo juvi male you have there is super nice.I remember seeing pics of it from Mike Alvarez when it was smaller.Talk to you later and good luck with starting that extreme ghost project,I'm excited to see that get off the ground too.

Thanks Jeff,
You're too kind, of course--several other people posting pics here of spectacular critters--but we try! I agree with you about better and better ghosts showing up, even before we see "extreme" ghosts, and that'll truly be spectacular.
I'll post a pic of my nicer extreme hypo female as soon as she sheds, which'll be any day.

The adult male i bought last fall died, unfortunately, which alters my breeding plans for this year somewhat as you can imagine. I have two adult females and the vanishing pattern male that's old enough to breed (2) but very likely not big enough. I also have a nice reservoir of extreme-related juveniles, most of them hypos het anery, as part of my efforts toward producing extreme ghosts.

Terry,
That is very sad to learn, if your plans don't work out and it's still early you could send one of the females up here to visit this male. I'd like to see that clutch hatch.
