Well, let him settle in his new cage before you handle and try to feed for at least a day.. have the cage set up before you get him, and well.. have fun

He might go off his ood for a few days, this is normal due to the satress of getting a new home. Also you shouldn't handle him for a week after you got him. :-] Good luck
Make sure the tank is in a quiet room, away from the hustle and bustle of the house (bedrooms work great). Avoid trying to pick the leo up, tapping on the glass, and other annoying behaviors. It will need time to adjust. When you go to pick out a leo (if you already haven't) make sure it is healthy. It should have clear eyes and nostrils, all of its toes, no old shed stuck on it, and when the employee reaches in to pick it up, it should react in some way like attempting to escape. Good luck!
