i'd say you have at least 2/3 chance of getting a female to be honest, they might all turn out to be females, i definitely get more females than males in most cases.

the odds of getting all males are slim in my opinion, you are bound to get at least one.

price isn't bad but without seeing them i couldn't say much. i guess its up to you.

i def. have to disagree with this post......2/3 chance of getting a female? I think you got it backwards......imho, males are way more likey to hatch out than females, and i wouldn't even be surprised out of the 3 that you buy.....all 3 turned out to be males.

My limited experence (a couple dozen purchaed last year) has been very lucky in females out numbering males 2 -1 .

However the books written by the large breeders all discuss a 50-50 ratio in the long run. So the odds are 1 and 1 with a 50-50 shot on the third .Or take a penny and flip it 3 times its pretty much the same chances.

Out of 4 unsexed cresteds i got 2 females. That was from PETCO.

i have a high percentage of females, although a lot of it is temperature dependent in terms of incubation, some have noticed 50/50 while others have noticed more females.

out of a group of about 10 of my juveniles only 2 are male, the rest are female. in my personal experiences i have had a high percentage of females, even when i buy them from other breeders.

perhaps 2/3 is a bit much, but i would definitely say at least 1 will be female, and i definitely wouldn't be surprised if more were.

again, just from my experience, a lot of breeders have noted higher female percentages as well, well some say it works out to about 50/50 over time.

it's a topic that has been discussed for quite some time now and there still isn't really a 100% answer on it.
