I am getting a burmese python and just wondering if is aspen bedding ok for a babby burmese pythons ?

Aspen is what I use. Watch out for pieces lodging in his mouth. It can cause swelling and infection. Feeding dry prey (as opposed to thawing out prey in water) helps keep aspen out of their mouths. You can also lay newspaper down beneath the prey at feeding time but that doesn't do much if he constricts and drags all over the cage. I used paper for a while and after burning myself out trying to maintain a dry clean cage with it- I returned to aspen and prefer it over any other substrate.
