First let me say....John, that is one nice bairdi a couple of posts below this one. With the head being yellow and not grey I would lean more towards Texas but there just might be a little Mexican in there. Either way it is a Beauty!.
Now, why I am stoked.
Both pairs of my Bairdis are hooked up as I type. I had six pairs of corns hook up over the last couple of weeks but my Bairdis just didn't want to join in all the fun.
I even put the males together to get that competitive edge going. Didn't work.
The last time I tried was last Thursday. I figured I would give them a little while and try again. Well, yesterday and today when I got home from work I noticed that all four were out. You could aslo see some pretty good paths around their tanks as if they had done quite a bit of cruising so I figured they must be about ready.
Well, I put each pair in sterilite sweater boxes and within two or three minutes they were hooked up.
WHOO WHOO.
I think of the six corn pairngs and these two pairings I am more excited about these. Just something about the Bairdis.
These are reruns..sorry... but I thought I would post pics of the pairs.
First two pics will be Rosie and Sam.. My first pair of bairdis.
Raised these guys from babies.
