Outstanding looking animal! It appears to meet the definition of a "pied" to me.

Does that hatchling you showed have those patches anywhere else but on the head? Is that the only one out of the clutch that showed such patches? Is the female from which it came of the same bloodline as the male? Do the patches tend to get bigger (area) or what, as the animal ages?

Questions...questions...questions!!!

Darren
These snakes are from a group that i recieved from Walter Smith.
In the group included, the Male in the picture and 1.3 poss het Pieds.
I bred one of these females to the Pied Male.I bred the other male to the poss het females.I couldn't breed the pied male to all three because of the size difference.
I got the baby in the original pic plus one that looks like the father.
This year i should be able to breed the pied to all three of the females.
