Here are some early spring frogs that were out in the rain tonight. All taken with D70, 180mm macro lens, f/18, 1/60s, SB800 flash off camera.

Southern toad

Spring peeper

Pickerel frog

Not as interesting as the kings you photograph, but there seems to be no shortage of these little amphibs with all the rain recently. They make quick and easy targets for photos. Here's a green treefrog photographed yesterday in Awendaw, SC. D70. 180mm macro, 1/5s, tripod, SB800 fill flash.
