Tree Boa bites?

got2strum Mar 23, 2005 09:07 AM

I went to a show today and saw someone selling tree boas. I think they were Emerald tree? I saw a guy buying one of them and the seller used a cloth bag to get it out. Would a bite from these really be that bad? They were about 2' or 3'long. Not buying any, just curious.

ive been bitten by a four foot emerald on the forearm and it looked like i had been bitten by something venomous for the first couple hours .my arm was not permanently damaged but they have that potential

There teeth make some venomous look small....ETB's have some huge teeth..i would avoid a bite if at all possible
