Could i keep a green snake in a screen cage because on the site i looked at they did but i heard snakes rub there noses against the screen but do green snakes?

What web site are you reading this on? Green snakes aren't really the best captive (from what i've been told - there are exceptions to every rule, however) but i think they would most definately rub their noses on the sides. they are trying to find ways out, and this is basically the most basic way to find their way out.

why do they say you can only have a green snake? I'd presume this is because you either haven't educated them on the minor differences between a rough green snake and, say, a corn; or you haven't done enough research to discover the minor differences.
what is it that they like about a rough green snake that they don't like about (i.e.) a corn snake, exactly? I may be able to give you some vlid arguing points.
