I need some advice on breeding monacle cobras (naja kouthia)

1. At least, one healthy, mature, adult pair. Multiple pairs drastically increase your chances of success.
2. Feed your females heavily throughout the year. If your females are underweight, chances are they will not produce. Males seem to be more opportunistic breeders when they are fed moderately throughout the year.
3. I begin introducing the male to the female in October. Keep introducing the male until the female is gravid.
-Possibly beneficial, but not required
*Photoperiod manipulation
*Temperature Manipulation
*Light misting upon introductions
4. When the eggs are deposited, remove them, and incubate them @ 84F. They will hatch in 5-8 weeks.
The key is having healthy snakes.

Thanx Sean P. ....I have 1.3 adults.. do enymore of u guys have eny more ideas?????????????
If it were my colony, I'd add 2 more males. You are relying too much on one snake (male) to get the job done. If he isn't sufficient, you will be forced to wait another year for the next opportunity. Pair each snake up, so that during the season, every female has the opportunity to spend the max. amount of time w/ each male. Rotate them at weekly intervals starting in October. Do that, and follow the basic husbandry methods described, I don't see how you would not be successful. It's incredibly easy, it requires almost no effort, and it's fun.
At this point, hobbyists are breeding so many N. kaouthia that there isn't much need for an imported supply.
