Anyone use Barrs or precision cage

TwoSnakes Mar 23, 2005 02:59 PM

I am looking into one or the other the 36 inch cage for a milksnake .
I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with either type and can an UTH be used on them since they are plastic?
If not might just opt for a tank though rather use one of these lighter cages.
Thanks

I have a lot of Barrs cages and love them! Finely crafted, top notch materials, durable. Doug Barr is a super guy to deal with and gives unsurpassed customer service. Save yourself the hassle and go with Barrs. His cages have access areas on the outside bottom and work great with heat pads. Do use a rheostat. I leave the adhesive backing on the pad and just attach with aluminum foil tape along the eadges of the heat pad. That way you can easily reposition the pad or use on another cage. Bill.

I have a bunch of them and love them all. No complaints. Plus, BARRS customer service and turnaround time are unsurpassed.
