should a hide be on the warm side or cool side n/p

Ideally one on each end, but if you only use one it would probably be better a humid hide on the warm side.

I keep mine on the warm sides BUT WOULDNT RECCOMEND IF you dont have a thermostat to control temp. All in all I dont think it would really matter if they are looking to cool they will head to the cool side if they want heat they will head to the warm side. If you have the room in your setup set one on both sides.

My Royals seem to be very clever, I provide one hide in their tub and they move it to either the hot side or the cool side as they need it
