Housing question

reptileking90 Mar 23, 2005 08:46 PM

I am getting 3 unsexed 2 month old cresteds and was wondering if i could house them all in a small critter keeper or should i put them in a 5 or 10 gallon? Is it ok if i house them all together as long as i keep an eye on them? (The previous keeper had them all in a 5 gallon should i just stick with that?)

Thanks Derek

I house my juveniles in a 10 gallon with a nice big pothos in the center and some branches to climb on. Make sure they have plenty of crix to hunt for so competition is not stiff. Keep an eye out for slower growing ones and separate them so they can catch up to the others. Make sure when they begin to mature you separate so they don't breed early or fight. By no means an expert just my experience with them. Hope this helps!
