Hey all,
I got my little albino cali king male back on December 23rd, he was just about 12 inches long. At that point, I had probably 4 ringneck snakes that could of eaten him(lol, not that I would ever feed a $60 snake to another snake), and at this point, he is about 19 inches long, very thick, and the only ringnecks that I have that could take him down are 2 adult 22" females. He's getting to be a big boy, and should be ready to breed in the spring of 2006. But what I want to know, is his feeding and shedding regimen good?
Since I got him, he has eaten 52 day old pinky mice. He gets 2 to 4 pinkies every 2 to 4 days, unless he is in shed. He shed once in January, twice in February, and right now he is going into another shed.
Anyone have any comments or anything on this? I'm doing this all right? This was my first kingsnake, so I am not as experienced with them as I am with the 'tiny' snakes.
