What Would You Do And Why?

I have 1.1 purple phase albinos and 1.1 tiger het albinos that are all the same age from '03. I'm wondering when they're ready should I put each pair as stated above or should I swap mates? I know swapping them won't produce supers but I'm wondering what combination will yield the biggest payoff assuming todays market value for each morph or het produced? Finally, should I just keep one male to go with both females and if so which one would be the one to keep? Sorry for so many questions but the genetic combinations involved really change the outcome pretty drastically. I'd love to hear your recommendations.

well the problem I see with breeding the pair of tiger hets is that if you are not a reputable breeder you will have a whole bunch of hets to get rid of that people will be sketched out about buying. And they wont even be 100% het they would be 66%. In my opinion breeding the albino to the albino will bring the biggest pay off, or at least you will be 100% sure of what will be the outcome. Although you do have the CHANCE of producing some albino super tigers or albino tigers. With the statistics swapping the two pairs will make you more money but you really have no idea what little babies will pop out. I plan to take my chances and breed my Albino male to my tiger het female with hopes of an albino tiger and trying to make people as comfortable as possible when buying a het. Anyway I hope any of this helps.

So if I just keep the male albino and breed with both females I'll produce all albinos with one group and 25% tiger albinos, 25% albinos, 25% tiger hets, and 25% normal hets, correct? I don't think I'd have a hard time selling the hets because they'd all be 100%.

Yep thats what you would get as I was told on this forum before. You could always swap the pairs next year and mix it up a bit rather than getting rid of one of your animals. Good luck.
