Would Silk Worms make a good staple diest for leos?? np

they are soft-bodied & easy to digest, and naturally have the correct ratio of calcium to phosphorous, because of their diet. they are also lower fat than the other correct cah insect, butterworms. they are a bit costly, and i've had difficulty raising them myself, but they are the healthiest choice avilable, to my knowledge (at least my vet says so). once you learn to keep them warm, dry, and with lots of food (that you order with them), and to give them enough space, they get easier to grow up, once they are past the tiniest stage. i would absolutely feed my guys exclusively on silkworms, if they weren't such an effort. so sometimes i just alternate in some of the other common stuff. but mostly silkworms.
