hogg island boa growth and feeding.

I had aquestion on the growth rate of these boas. I would also like to know a good feeding schedule for them.

feed once a week for age 0-1yrs
feed once every two weeks for 1-2yrs
feed once every three weeks for 2+

This is all relative to the size and girth of your snake. With the above, I generally feed a size or two smaller then the snake can take. That is, until they get to jumbo rat size, then thats where they stay. And once every three weeks is for females not in breeding season.

There are too many factors involved to answer your question. Use the above as a guideline only, and not 'the only way.' I have been keeping hog's for the better part of 8 years now, (I currently own seven) and the above seems to be good for the animals I have. None are more than six feet long... Well maybe one
