How old are bd's when they are sexually mature? and how fast do they grow? I raised my female but forgot how fast they grow.

females shouldn't be bred earlier than 15 months, 18 months is optimal. Females can become gravid much earlier but to ensure the least stress on her body and any long term side effects, waiting till she is older is best.

males can be a bit younger, but no less than a year. Also make sure the male and female are about the same size (no more than an inch or two difference in size).

Growth rates very, but typically after a year to 14 months they have finished their growing.
