Are these flightless fruitflies? I'm assuming they are for a hatchling? I usually keep my hatchlings in a aquarium until they are 2 months of age or depending on how fast they grow. Once they can start eating crickets of a decent size, I put them in an all screen cage. Usually if hatchlings are in an aquarium the flightless fruitflies are all eaten before they even have time to crawl out of the screen top.
