Does breeding snakes decrease their life spans?

I was just wondering, because I had always heard that with dogs for example, they generally dont live as long if they have been bred several times as opposed to ones that arent? Is this true with BP's too?

Not sure about the BP's breeding affecting lifespan, but it sure as heck is wrecking havoc on mine. The waiting is nuts ! ! !
