geez how did you get all those plants?...it looks awsome.
how do you make sure each cham is eating....it seems like it would be hard to find each one of them.
thanx. The plants came a little at a time over the years, begged, bought, and stolen, lol. The spanish moss came from ebay, very good investment (and dirt cheap}, my favourite plant in there-makes it seem lush.
I always know where each cham is, they each follow a set pattern of movement around the greenhouse through the day, all the females end up by the door at night, when I open the screen and let all the delicious bugs in, plus they never fight. If two see the same insect at the same time they check each other out and the dominant female gets it, unless she is chewing. I make sure each has enough to eat, believe me, and it is not always easy, luckily they do eat from my fingers so I can be precice with who gets the best etc.
The big male is sometimes hard to find, he is constantly prowling the enclosure in search of insects and males to fight off, unless he is lounging on a vine under a spot lamp. Wish I had his life!!
Its funny in the morning to watch the females all dispersing from their perches close to each other by the door from the night before to their individual morning spots. If one gets behind another on a "vine highway" they just keep going. Like cattle.
