Of course I wouldn't, but I'd like to send Xena in after this guy...

This little ba$#@d has been tearing up my backyard for years. Now I know how the Head groundskeeper felt in "Caddyshack."

I have a one year old little girl, an 8 year old boy and a dog. Poison bait out of the question.

I was just talking to a pest control store owner and he told me the best ways to get rid of goffers was 1 put broken glass down all there holes and the 2nd thing was get a cheap windmill and set it up. He said the windmill sends vibrations in the ground and they hate that and move on elsewhere. Just thought you might want to try the second one since you have kids and a dog. Paul

My parents had that same problem and also have grandchildren and a cat and dog that roam the yard. They had 2 acres that were FULL of dirt mounds and holes...so they had alot of moles. There are some traps that you have to place within the mole/gopher tunnel system. All the mole/gopher has to do is walk through the trap and it sets the trap off. Soo, therefore the trap sits underground and wont harm your pets. The only thing you need (besides the trap that is) is a shovel to get access to the tunnel and even to be safer you can put a bucket over the dug up area so the dogs don't get too curious. Good luck!

I would be tempted also to send a snake down the hole
