Firefighter, I have never posted a pic on KS, but I'm enclosing a post that I copied from the BP forum recently. I hope it helps you.

to post pics go to photo gallery sign in then hit upload files.
After uploading the pics go to the largest view and right click hit
properties then copy the url and paste it into the bottom of a message
were it says image URL

I agree, use a Kingsnake Gallery. It's a nice feature.

With a kingsnake gallery you also have a drop down menu that makes things even easier.
It says "Select Image from Photo Gallery".
