i aquired two newts, that were labled as Chinese Warty Newts at the petstore, and after some research, it turns out they are actually the California Newt or Gold Belly Newt.
i've gotten very conflicting information on how to properly keep them. do i keep them terresterial on moss and soil, with a large dish to submerge in? or do i keep them semi aquatic (currently keeping them aquatic) with an area to get out of the water? i've found both types of care out on the web, but which one is accurate???
ANY info would be great, i need to get these poor mislabled newts into a proper environment. thanks!
