My 4 year old brooksi is a wonderfull new addition to my collection. He's about 55-60" and very tame. He's never rattled his tale or shown any aggression. For the most part, he is a joy to handle.
However, about 50% of the time that I handle him (2-4x week) he will musk. Quite often, for no sure reason at all. Typically it is any time that he wants to go somewhere that is not my hands. It's kind of funny and he rarely gets the least bit flighty. However, the musk situation (and sometimes clear stuff - urine?) is getting a bit old.
I've only had him a couple months. Not sure how often he was handled in the past. Do you think I can "cure" him of this casual habit he has? My female L.g.g. will only musk if she gets really scared of something.
I know the answer to this one - just keep having contact with him, but am looking for experience any one else has like this.
Thanks - Matt
