I have (had) two long tail lizards. This morning I found the female dead in the cage. The Male was very aggresive when I fed them and he would steal crickets right from her mouth. This usually resulted in him whipping her around the cage. She always seemed OK after and I tried to make sure she was getting enough food despite him. I am thinking that the fighting is what caused her death. Is it common for them to be so aggressive and do you have any suggestions. The lizards where my sons and I am planning on getting another female. Also, I was told to only feed them twice a week, is that enough? I am a first time lizard owner and would appreciate any help!
