The Brisbane phase are larger, red in color, and have a faint to nonexistent head pattern. That's about all anyone knows that isn't from Australia. But with carpet variability, who knows what freaks will get thrown. I will tell you one thing, your female looks allot like one that I own and the babies that are red will probably dull out to a coppery color like the our adults. Maybe with a few years of selective breeding you could produce some redder coastals, but it would take time. I don't think they are necessary a new genetic morph or anything, just one of the various locality specific color phases.

That your male is the color producer.
