My newest Edition: But what is this?

h0mersimps0n Jul 09, 2003 02:01 PM

I took 7 of my 13 "normals" hatchlings to my local breeder and he traded me for this beauty. He said it is creamsicle but after looking through some sites I can't decide what the heck is it? Could it be butter or anything else? Did he rip me off? He was only going to give me like $100 for 7 normal hatchlings?

well enjoy! Let me know what you all think! thanks!

Looks like it might have creamsicle blood in it.

Even if it only has a small % of E. g. emoryi blood in it, it is still considered a creamsicle.

So a straight, to the point answer is, it's a creamsicle.

And yes, he did rip you off, as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't pay more than $50 or $60 for a creamsicle, unless it was older than a hatchling. How old is it? If it's a yearling then I guess $100 isn't bad. I still probably wouldn't pay $100, but that's just me.

Looks like it's probably creamsicle (especially if he said that's what it was).

Also, $100 for 7 normal hatchlings isn't all that bad (assuming US dollars ). Probably can't get much more than $15-$20 each individually, unless they're het for some exotic morphs.

Very nice creamsicle. Creamsicles are way up there on my list of favorites. Probably top of the list.
I noticed in the other post it sounded as if your were saying "OK it's a creamsicle BUT what is it?"
I assume you mean what morph?
Basically Creamsicle refers to an amelanistic strain of corn/emoryi mix.
So your snake is simply what it is, a creamsicle.

thank you for the post. No I wasn't asking about the morph, I realize that creamsicle is a color descriptor not morph descriptor...

I am enjoying this snake a lot!

thanks!

If your cream turns out anything like mine you will definitely enjoy it.
Not only are they beautiful snakes, they are excellent eaters and very personable also. Or at least mine are!

I wonder if she has any emory in her, too? You have a beautiful snake there. I'd say you got a good deal
