My 1st question......

crazy4burm123 Mar 26, 2005 12:00 AM

Ok well my burm wuld spend the 1st 2 weeks i had him in his hot hide...which was about 95 degrees. Finally after 2 feedings i put him in his cage on day on the cool side where there is a climbing branch. Now for the past 2 days he sits there all day. He never explores the cage or moves around for a temp gradient. Is this normal? ALso he at f/t mice from his hide by me placing them in front of the hide easily. If i go to feed him and he is not in his hide, will he be more scared and maybe reject it?
thanks so much.

>>Wut is a Blood boy? and I am not a mam I am a man.

Ya know kid, there's such a thing as playing too innocent. Wouldn't a legit newbie be asking who is Bloodboy as opposed to what is a Blood boy?

Your false identity is frankly as effective as one of those fake glasses/nose/moustache novelty disguises. Go watch Animal Planet.

That being said, on the .0000000000000000000001% chance that you are an innocent new person, my apologies and I suspect that mam instead of man was a simple typo.

In my opinion, what he is doing is perfectly fine. Of course give him his options regarding temperature preference. If he prefers the hide, that is certainly uncommon, escpecially while he is smaller. While he is smaller he will be much more scared to do anything outside of the hide, as opposed to an animal of adult size that is used to human interaction on a regular basis.

If you aren' t bloodboy128, welcome to the forums, hopefully you will enjoy your stay. If you are curious as to what is going on with this, just span over the past posts for the next couple of pages and you will see.

If you are bloodboy128, grow up.

I know Im new to the debate but cant we get an IP address of the people posting here so we can see if bloodboy is popping up over and over?

Only the site administrators would have access to that information if anything.

Thanks actually just today he was moving around the two sides. I think he is getting used to things now and exploring his new enviorment.
