about how long is a redtail when born? and also about how long are they before they can be safely sold?

Without actually measuring them, I'd say about 16-18 inches. Generally they can be sold when feeding nicely on frozen/thawed fuzzy mice, which can be as soon as 2-3 meals.
Any other opinions?

a friend of mine did her first breeding last year and the babies she got were around 24-28 inches. pretty good size babies if you ask me. but they do tend to be a bit short in general and you may sell them after they have a couple good meals.
