When i took my BTS to my clinic yesterday to be looked at we put him in the incubator (a machine that pumps oxegyn to help with his labored breathing, and has a humidifyer [warm air] and has controlled temps) after a few minutes in there he was breathing much better and was opening his eyes wider. My vet suggested getting a warm air humidifyer for him because she thinks it will help keep the debris and congestion in his chest broken up and make it easier for him to breath and make it easier for the anti-biotics to work. What do you think of this?
He is currently in a glass aquarium but a screened reptarium (60gallon) is on the way so im not too worried about humidity building up. I just wanted to make sure this was a good idea and wouldn't have any adverse affects....thanks
