Hey folks, just had to show off my new redtail. This little guy was *found* by the humane society, and placed with my area's reptile society to find a home. I was the lucky guy who got him...(i think it's a male, haven't probed him yet). He's healthy looking, very alert, beautiful snake. Perfect saddles all the way down the back...enjoy! BTW, sorry about the pictures...I need a new camera!

My wife almost freaked when I told her I placed a "Boa constrictor" around Esther's neck!!

Can anyone familiar with boas tell me what "kind" of boa this guy is? Someone that saw him said that the coloring made him think Hogg Island, but I'm not sure...any ideas??

As far as names...well, one fella at the meeting last night was extremely impressed with the snake, and said that if he had seen it before I did he would have jumped on it. He took one look at it, and said it looked like a "Clark." So, in honor of Chuck...I'll stick with Clark!

and it looks like a nice little Circleback at that.... Boa Constrictor Imperator.. not Boa Constrictor constrictor.....

Looks like a stunning circleback and possible ladder tail BCI.

Nice wash out and great undertone. Possibly a pastel as well.

By scale counts, it is B.c.i. He has approximately 65 midbody rows (I could be off by a couple, but not by 15!), and 30 dorsal blotches. This points to imperator. Now is he a normal? Or a morph? Any ideas here??
