Your snake can hurt itself if it gets stuck in one of those holes......

We've been keeping an eye on him for a few hours...he looked through the holes once or twice, but he's so big he can only get his head through then he backs right up. He's really content lying on it though, since we put it in he's only gone back down to the substrate once.

Decided to take your advice...didn't take it out, but we're making it solid. Screen mesh should do the trick hopefully. Thanks.

...that the snake will push the water bowl off the platform, thus spilling...that'll get real old...keep the bowl on the floor of the cage...and for sure plug those holes!!
